Hey there!
My name is Tristan Amado, I'm a recent graduate from the University of North Texas. I recieved my Bachelor's in Advertising with a minor in sociology. My goal in advertising is to build a career in art direction and design. I've always been an incredibly inspired and out-of-the-box thinker, both qualities I know will be valuable to any advertising team/agency. I have experience working in an agency environment, as I was chosen to be an Art Director for my univerist's student amanged agency, SWOOP. As well, I'm incredibly well rounded for someone in my position, having experience with market research and analytics when I was a media planner for my University's national student advertising competition team. Plus, I do very well with presenting and public speaking, as I was part of a group of students at UNT who went to North Texas high schools to promote UNT's advertising program.
Outside of my education and career aspirations, I have plenty of hobbies that act as a creative outlet and keep me sane. I love playing bass and drums and listening to music, whether that's songs and artists I've loved for many years, or discovering new genres and styles I'm not privy to. As well, I enjoy hanging out with friends online playing games, making art on my computer from time to time, or even finding small, niche food spots to check out in Austin with my friends.
And as a bonus, I can toss food into the air and catch with my mouth, if that doesn't sway you in my direction, I don't know what will.
